+ Well worth staying here !
We stayed in a very comfortable room facing the sea. All the amenities in the room worked well and there was heaps of hot water. Fresh fruit and water were delivered daily. The pool had loungers and umbrellas to keep off the sun and a lifeguard on duty. This hotel caters mainly for Vietnamese tourists so the breakfast buffet catered to Vietnamese tastes but there was plenty to choose from if you want to eat a Western style meal. The palm fringed beach was raked daily and there were padded loungers and umbrellas providing shade. The water was clear and apart from the odd jellyfish, no danger. The only downside is the plastic bags and bits of rubbish that float down the coast but the amount depends on the tide. All in all, we will be going back.
+ A really good place to stay !
We stayed in a bungalow right on the beach and couldn't fault the place at all.The room was very clean and the staff friendly.Breakfast had lots of variety. The only criticism is that there is no lift in the main hotel building which has 4 levels so if you are staying there your legs will get a good work out but you will also have a fantastic view if you are facing the water.
+ Beach and pool fabulous !
Stayed here over the Xmas period, the beach and pool area were fabulous. Actual hotel a bit dated but clean and functional. Lovely tour guide who organised for us a driver and guide for the day. Beach bar good if a little expensive compared to the rest of the island. Beware of biting ants on the beach. Pool fabulous and very quiet when we were there, but not enough sun loungers/parasols if it got busier. The only disappointment was the massage/treatments where we didn't get the advertised amount of time and my "girl" didn't say a word except to say "you tip me". Overall a good experience and in walking distance of a number of great restaurant, particularly Mays, Chez Carol and Ginesh, don't bother with Hop Inn, Peppers or Dog Bar. Only main complaint which is a western issue, there was only a small grill for toast and the coffee was disgusting, take sachets in with you. Lots of staff but seem to have their own specific job and cant " think outside the box".
+ Beach bungalows are great!
We found our bungalow clean and spacious. It fully met our needs. The main restaurant by the hotel part of the complex had good food and service. The menu was fairly extensive. Prices were comparable to other hotel restaurants we visited in Vietnam. English was a bit of a problem but not one that inconvenienced us. The staff were very polite and helpful.
