+ Loved it! Only wish we had longer!
We stayed here for 1 night on our honeymoon to Vietnam. I absolutely fell in love with this hotel and particularly loved the art deco style. Our room wasn't huge but very tastefully decorated and the bathroom was gorgeous. We had a large balcony and a view of the perfume river. In our room we had chocolates, fruit, flowers and a giant honeymoon cookie waiting for us!
We ordered room service for dinner and it was really good, we found it pretty reasonable too. The breakfast room is also beautiful and the breakfast buffet was very impressive, lots of choice and eggs, pancakes and waffles cooked to order. We both had treatments at the spa and thoroughly enjoyed it.
The hotel has a business area with free internet available on several computers. They also had a library and a couple of bars which had a colonial feel -It was very wet whiole we were there so we didn't try the pool but it looked very nice. The hotel is located slightly outside of the town but there are taxis available or it is a leisurely stroll.
Hue is definitely worth a visit on a trip to Vietnam with so much History, the Citadel was fascinating. If we are ever back in Hue this is definitely where we will stay.
+ A relaxing, tasteful hotel !
This is a beautiful, colonial hotel where you can relax by the bar, the pool or in the spa . It has character and isn´t the normal hotel chain-type hotel. Rooms are ample and tastefully decorated in colonial style. Breakfast has a good selection but as the chef is Swiss, our Vietnamese dinner wasn´t very authentic so it is probably better to eat international dishes. It isn´t a hotel for young people who want "action" but it is fine for couples who want a peaceful place. The billiards table is a good idea and free internet with about 6 computers is perfect.
+ Art Deco Heaven !
An excellent hotel by SE Asian standards. Charming French influence, nice spa and pool area with an very good breakfast and dinner menu. The little touches like fresh roses in the room add to the beautiful atmosphere. A fine view of the perfume river.
+ Great Art Deco hotel !
Smart and sophisticated, this Art Deco gem is a bit out of town but beautiful all the same. This is by far probably the best option in Hue. The service and staff were very attentive and the food was excellent. Be sure to eat outside on the terrace. The hotel was welcome oasis after a long and hot day of touring.
+ You'll love it . . . !
Fantastic ambience, excellent service, very good food in the restaurant if you don't want to go into town, rooms were terrific , we had 4 rooms to accomodate our group and all were excellent.
I see others have been critical of the pool but I thought it was good.
We were two weeks in Vietnam and this was the best hotel we stayed in.
