+ Good location, lovely staff !
Stayed here on Wendy Wu tour. Lovely traditional style hotel, lots of character, clean, but rooms a little tired. Ours had a strange smell, could have been stale smoke or damp. This may hve come through from the bathroom, the top of the bath was not sealed, so whenever we showered the walls and floor were soaked, and the damp came through to thebedroom. Also, the shower head sprayed water up onto the ceiling, it then dripped down!!! Beds were rather hard, extra duvets helped to soften them.
Breakfast was a good selection of Western and Eastern food, evening meal was a little disappointing, but it was difficult to find a restaurant to serve a group of 20 in Hoi An.
The swimming pool was cool and refreshing, and the whole leisure area was very clean.
There is WiFi (free) in the bedrooms and computers in reception. Safe boxes are available in reception.
Staff are very helpful and speak good English.
+ Far better than expected !
We stayed here for 3 nights and were apprehensive due to the reviews but were most pleasantly surprised. It started well with a nice surprise, it was my husbands birthday and shortly after our arrival there was a knock at the door and a birthday cake arrived, which was freshly decorated with his name and birthday details and candles - what a lovely thought - thank you. The room was large and clean and well furnished The bathroom was a little dark. We had a couple of problems which they remedied quickly and as stated the mattress was very hard but on asking they provided us with a much softer topper. The main problem - we were on the front and due to very poorly fitting windows it was very noisy particularly very early morning. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good and the pool a lovely relaxing oasis. Overall we had a much needed rest and couldn't have had it in a better place.
+ Quiet, Attractive, Close to old town !
We stayed at Thuy Duong 3 for 3 nights in april. The rooms were very nice, attractive and elegant. The beds were typical for vietnam, which is quite firm. The hotel is open and relaxing with graceful arched walkways looking out onto green fields behind the hotel. The pool is refreshingly cold and a welcome break from the heat. Our room was overlooking the pool so we did not get any street noise. A short 2 block walk and you are in the old town and near all the sites. The staff where very friendly. In the lobby are 3 free computers with internet connection so there was no waiting for that. We enjoyed the fresh fruit at breakfast and the made to order omelets where delicious. The rest of the food was somewhat utilitarian (fuel for the day).
+ The Best hotel !
I have read many reviews on this hotel and wonder" are you reviewing the same hotel that i steyed at"My wife along with our youngest son(29yo) stayed there at the end of Jan, The staff were on the ball and played their part well. Its a shame that many of the hotels around Vietnam seem to think that travellers should not complain , and when they do, its just a whinge. We found many with The attitude, and used their lack of understanding of English a s a poor excuse for ignoring your complaint. This hotel , however was the exception. WE were collected from the Airport and treated like Royalty bey all of the staff, who remmbered us from our previous visit. I had cause to make comment regarding the poor quality of the breakfast. The staff thanked me and the following morning it was rectified. My son had an upst tummy and one of the nice girls looked after him and took him up some soup which cured him tummy ache. Thank you Hoi and your stafff for making our stay so warm
+ Great Staff, Good Location, Comfortable Room, Great Pool !
Recently spent 4 nights in Hoi An on a leisure Photography trip, our second to Vietnam in 12 months.
First time stay at the Thuy Duong 3, loved the hotel, staff were great, very friendly and always ready for a joke and laugh with us. Security guys were excellent, as we had hired pushbikes for 4 days and often needed to pedal off somewhere at 5am, well before the main staff were on hand. These guys always made sure our bikes were ready to go, and also locked them up each night to ensure their safety.
Would recommend this hotel, breakfast food was quite adequate, and the chef was on hand to cook eggs etc., to your choice. Overall, very pleased with this hotel and would return there without hesitation.
