+ Beautiful settings and nice surroundings !
I checked in late a night, but was welcomed by wonderful staff speaking very good english. The room was really nice, with a view to the garden, a really comfortable bed, big wide screen and all the needed facilities for one to have a great stay. The hotel is located in a beautiful spot in Da lat.
The staff were so helpful and you can ask them for anything and they will do their very best to help you out.
During the weekends they have a great BB in the garden, and the Spa treatments were very cheap and really good.
+ Average to good 4 star business style... !
Average to good 4 star business style hotel, and they made real efforts to make us comfortable. Many comments on breakfast a little harsh although lacked international range (have to stick with eggs on toast, fruit and ordered weaker coffee)
biggest downside was they forgot to give us our passports before we left for Saigon - hope we get them today.......
+ Pleasant suprise !
Arrived to Dalat for rappelling and biking. Hotel seemed fairly new and had a nice garden. Friendly staff even though English language skills were a bit weak. We were surprised by the good standard of the rooms. Nice LCD-TVs, bath robes, very clean, nice furnishing. All in all a business hotel standard with a nice outside restaurant with barbecue. The hotel even had a sauna which worked properly. Swimming pool area did not have adequate air conditioning. Free fast internet wifi connection. Staff at restaurant were a bit lost and did not speak English.
+ Great hotel !
A great, affordable, 4 star hotel in lovely Dalat. We actually came across this place by accident. The hotel we had booked a few days earlier via phone did not have our reservation so they recommended we check out the Blue Moon and another hotel. Our Easy Riders guys took us to the Blue Moon, and while over our budget, $80US in January 2009, it was a fantastic room with a really comfortable bed and great pillows – exactly what we needed after a couple of weeks on not so great beds.
The room had all the mod-cons – LCD TV (great range of channels which came in handy when it was raining), air-con, heater, spacious bathroom. Internet access was pretty good and the staff were very friendly.
The breakfast was better than average, but again, not fantastic. The location was great. Close to everything – the heart of the town – a 2 minute walk, the lake – a 2 minute walk, and great food everywhere.
Only one disappointment with the service was when we were leaving. We were due to catch a bus to Saigon. We advised the girl at the desk that we were catching the 7:45am. It was 7:25am and she called the bus company for us and after what appeared to be a lengthy conversation, told us everything was ok and someone would be picking us up shortly. We were expecting the actual bus to pick us up, as this was what occurred in Mui Ne. However, a transit bus goes round the hotels and takes everyone to the bus depot. When no one had arrived by 7:45am, we asked the same staff member if we should wait outside, however she assured us it would be fine. At 7:55am I asked the assistant manager if he could call the company again for us. After another lengthy conversation he advised us there had been some error and that the transit bus had already come and gone. He did assure us we would be able to get on the 8:45am and he organised that for us. So that was greatly appreciated.
All in all though, a great hotel.
