Kim Tho Hotel

+ Great value, good location, terrific service !

Other reviews are spot on.....this hotel is wonderful value. We spent one night here on our route up the Mekong, and were completely delighted. The service was warm and helpful and the staff helped us with directions, restaurant recommendations, and other tips. The room was large, functional, and clean, and the location was perfect - one block from the river, near several restaurants (one across the street), and within walking distance of the market, post office, and other local spots. Breakfast was fine. 50 dollars well spent. Would highly recommend.

+ Great value - all the amenities of 4 star but for a 2 star price !

We picked Kimtho hotel based on Trip Advisor, and we were not disappointed! We paid about 50 dollars for a room with a spectacular view of the Mekong River. The service was super friendly and room was quite modern and clean - the bathroom was also quite nice.

Overall, for this price range, I was expecting something more dumpy - but we got better service/value here than some of the ritzy hotels in Saigon! The breakfast was very complete, with Chinese, Vietnamese and Western options. The hotel also helped us book a bus back to Ho Chi Minh City.

A highlight was definitely the massage/spa area. While the decor is a bit cheesy, who can beat massage and jacuzzi for 80,000 dong (about USD $4)? So cheap and very nice.

I think this is a great option in Can Tho - close to the action, quiet, safe, clean and friendly.

+ Good hotel, but relatively expensive !

Kimtho is a clean, modern hotel, but it cost double what we payed anywhere else in Vietnam. At $50/night, expectations are high. The breakfast was quite weak, with mostly asian choices, although they do have omelets available. The rooms were average size and comfortable. They have a wireless router on each floor for internet access in the rooms, which worked very well.
