Vietnam Visa Exemption For 5 European Countries

Vietnam has now offered the unilateral
visa exemption to the travelers
coming from the five European countries within 15 days. The lucky and
prioritized tourists are the citizens of Germany, France, Britain, Italy,

Since July 01, 2015, Vietnam has begun offering the policy of the unilateral
visa exemption for the tourists of the five European countries as said
before. The policy???s target is to attract more guests coming to the S-shaped
country. According to Mr. Nguyen Quy Phuong, Director of Tourism, the
Vietnamese Prime Minister adopted the Resolution that formally applied the
unilateral visa exemption for the tourists coming from Germany, France,
Britain, Italy, and Spain. The citizens of these exempt countries can
travel
to Vietnam without the need of a visa for the period of staying within 15
days (from July 01st, 2015 to June 30th, 2016).
While Germany, Britain, and France have long been the traditional markets
that bring the large passenger traffic in the first five months of the year,
Italy and Spain are the two new markets for Vietnamese tourism. The visa
exemption surely enables the number of travelers from these markets goes up
dramatically.
Earlier, the Vietnamese Government also adopted the resolution of Visa
Exemption for the Belarus citizens from July 01st, 2015 to June 30th, 2016.
They can stay in Vietnam without the visa for 15 days that applies to every
type of passport and immigration purpose. So, Vietnam today provides the
unilateral visa exemption for 13 countries (previously include Japan, Korea,
Norway, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Russia, and Belarus). Meanwhile, the
bilateral visa exemption is offered to the 9 ASEAN countries.
